What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

What’s in a Name?

What’s in a name… specifically the OSOM name? First, let’s start with the acronym itself. OSOM stands for “out of sight, out of mind,” and you pronounce it like the word “awesome”. We’ve gone so far as to put a pronunciation on our web site to help the newbies.

And while we believe our team and mission are incredibly OSOM, if you dig a little deeper you’ll find that OSOM is much more than a clever acronym.

It’s been written that a rose by any other name would smell as sweet (a tip of the hat to Shakespeare) but at OSOM, we would not be who we are without our name.

Our goal is to be recognized as the #1 privacy brand in the world, and when you see the OSOM brand, you should feel safe knowing that you Own Your Privacy. You should know that our technology is “out of sight, out of mind” and is working seamlessly for you without you having to worry about it; allowing you to concentrate on living life.

OSOM is an acronym, a brand, and the DNA behind our company’s belief that data privacy is your right and we’ll never scrape, own or monetize that which is yours.

So… what does OSOM mean? Obviously a hell of a lot, but at its core it’s about ensuring that each of us has access to the world, without the world having access to us.

And that’s pretty OSOM / awe-some!
